Lace Wei was born in Beijing, China. She started to love taking pictures since childhood, after receiving a second-hand camera as her tenth birthday gift. She began exploring photography in depth when she moved to Ontario, Canada, and took a photography course in her first year of high school. Living on Vancouver Island now, she continues her journey with the camera, embraced by the wild nature of British Columbia.
