Xiaoping Lin, a Chinese bird photographer, has been involved in photography since 1992. He has won numerous honors, including the 2025 CEWE Winner, 2022 XPOSURE First Place, 2023 HIPA Merit Medal, 2023 BigPicture Winner, and 2024 NBP Winner. His photographic works have been exhibited in photography shows around the world and published in various magazines and books. His works accurately capture vivid details of bird ecological behavior from a unique perspective, while interpreting the meaning of life through the language of the lens. In 2022, the work “Pass By” won First Place in the Wildlife category of the XPOSURE International Photography & Film Awards in UAE. He was invited to attend the award ceremony and the work was exhibited at the XPOSURE Photography Festival. 2. In 2023, the work “Pass By” won Winner in the Winged Life category of the BigPicture Natural World Photography Competition in the USA, and was exhibited at the California Academy of Sciences. 3. In 2024, the work “Fight To Win Or Die” won the Merit Medal on the theme of “Diversity” at The 12th season of the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA) in Dubai, UAE, and was published in the ANNUAL BOOK: DIVERSITY 2022 - 2023. 4. In 2024, the work “Skysurfing” won Honorable Mention in the World Of Birds category of the 34th Memorial Maria Luisa International Mountain and Nature Photo Contest in Spain. He was invited to attend the award ceremony. The work was published in the 34th MML annual book and exhibited in Infiniesto and Oviedo, Asturias. 5. In 2024, the work “Pass By” was selected as a Finalist in the exposure award category of the Head On Photo Awards in Australia. He attended the award ceremony. The work was exhibited at the Head On Photo Festival 2024 in Sydney and published in the book Head On Photo Awards 2024. 6. In 2024, the work “Pass By” won Winner in the Birds category of the Nature’s Best Photography International Awards in the USA, the work was published in the 2024 Winter issue of Nature's Best Photography Magazine. 7. In 2025, the work “Jungle Rule” won Winner in the Nature and Wildlife category of the CEWE Photo Award 2025 in Germany. He was invited to attend the award ceremony in Prague, Czech Republic. The work was published in the 2025 Annual Book and exhibited at the Kaiserstein Palace in Prague. 8. In 2025, the work “Jungle Rule” won Second Place in the Nature and Animals category of the 2025 APA Awards in the USA, and was published in the book “2025 APA Awards Winners Book”.
