About Us
World Photography League Awards is an international platform dedicated to photographic art and competition. It brings active photographers from around the world together to share their perspectives, present their work and take part in a year-round programme of photography events.
Our ambition is to be a reference point for an international community of practicing photographers: a place to discover distinctive visual voices, explore contemporary photographic work and follow the achievements of peers across borders. Artistic expression and meaningful competition sit at the heart of the league, with space for different cultures, approaches and ways of seeing.
Photographers take part through free access or an annual membership, with submission allowances set for each event. Each event follows its own submission and judging schedule, while results contribute to the league's rankings.
Accepted and award-winning work is presented alongside photographer profiles, making it possible to discover both individual images and the people behind them. Event results, annual standings, and all-time rankings offer different perspectives on each photographer's progress.
Beyond competition, World Photography League Awards provides space for photographer interviews, certificates, and curated magazines featuring selected work. Our aim is to give photography a lasting presence beyond a single result, with credit to the photographers and the stories they share.
